La Rioja Alta "Vina Ardanza" Rioja DOCa Reserva 2010

In the glass, this wine shimmers in a dark cherry red with ruby red highlights. In addition to fruity aromas, the bouquet also has a balanced spicy character. They present  sweet cherries and black currant chocolate on the nose, combined with notes of black pepper, tobacco, nutmeg, coffee, mocha and cinnamon. On the palate, this Spanish red wine is wonderfully balanced. A soft freshness with a beautiful structure is already revealed on the first sip. The elegant tannins are perfectly integrated and harmonize very well with the soft body. The pleasantly long finale is accompanied by pickled cherries and black currants with a touch of sweet spices.
