The Maranges 1er Cru La Fussière is made from grapes planted on south-east-facing slopes of clay-limestone soil, giving a rich, full-bodied and intense red wine. Blagny La Pièce Sous Le Bois Premier Cru, meanwhile, is strongly distinguished by its limestone terroir. Intense dark fruits dominate the spicy notes that follow on the nose. It is full-bodied, with rich tannins and surprises the palate with its minerality and energy.
