The Agiorgitiko variety is one of the highest quality and well-known in Greece. In the glass intense dark red with complex aromas of red fruit, vanilla and tobacco. In the mouth very structured with fine acidity, velvety tannins and long finish.
Balanced, Agiorgitiko is characterized by its velvety body and soft tannins.
Agiorgitiko is as versatile as the Italian variety Sangiovese.
Therefore, it is also used for numerous cuvées. Variety pure from the Nemea region, the Agiorgitiko bears the protected designation of origin of the same name.
The Nemea is a great companion to numerous Greek meat dishes such as
lamb.
